Week 12 Theme: Emotive.
So I had to do a little research to figure out just what 'emotive' meant. Can't say I'm still 100% sure, but what I got out of it more or less is that emotive pertains to activating the emotions, something designed to arouse emotions, or something that draws emotion from us. At first I was confusing it with 'emotional,' but now I can see where this is somewhat different. Look at that, learning a new word thanks to a photo project. :)

My photo: {The Swinging Kathleens!} The heart keepsake holds a special part of Aunt Kathy -- and it draws much emotion from all of us. In this photo especially, as I had told Aunt Kathy last Mother's Day that I would be naming our baby's middle name after her since she had been so strong, brave, compassionate, and did so much for me growing up (including taking me in at 12 years old). I had no idea that she would no longer be with us by the time our baby girl was born. I set our little piece of Auntie in the swing with our 18 week old daughter while she was sleeping, and within 30 seconds, Baby E gracefully placed her hand over it. Melted my heart! Auntie always told me as a little girl that her and I were going to the moon!

Week 11 Theme: Play
My photo: {Playful Pals!} I couldn't help but fall in love with this photo of Daddy and Baby E at 17 weeks just spontaneously playing in between lounging around. Mismatched clothes and all - just a very natural moment and I love everything about their playful sessions full of little laughs!

Happppy, Happy St. Patrick's Day! We spent the day relaxing for the most part --- Well, J was studying, I was keep baby girl entertained. Somehow I was able to steer clear of buying her any cutesy little St. Patty's outfits or accessories, but of course I was bummed about it today. I sent my sis a sweet little text that went something like "Where's a dizzang baby St. Patty's outfit?! I expect a hand-me-down for every holiday from here on out" followed by a steaming mad face. ha..yes I used the word dizzang. It was deserving, right?! ...We've been good on every other holiday so far. Oh well!

So I dressed her in her green scrubs after seeing Daddy studying in some of his :)

We ended the evening with the Clauson's, grilled burgers, and green beer. Cheers, everyone!

Week 10 Theme: Changes
My photo: {Thinking...} There have been so many changes in our baby girl lately. Sleeping in her crib sometimes, rolling both ways like it's her job, holding her own bottle, trying to talk up a storm, and belly laugh. In this photo, she looks like she's thinking long and hard about what the heck was going on as this was her first time going to sleep in it .. "Hmm, I'm not too sure about all this!"
